Service to Community

Making a Difference in the Fredericksburg Community

At Kiwanis of Fredericksburg, we believe strong communities start with caring people who are willing to take action. Through hands-on service, fundraising, and partnerships with local organizations, we work to improve the lives of children and families throughout the Fredericksburg region.

Our members bring different backgrounds, experiences, and skills to a shared mission: creating opportunities for young people and building a stronger community for future generations.

How We Serve Our Community

Supporting Children and Youth

Children are at the heart of everything we do. We support programs and initiatives that help young people learn, grow, develop leadership skills, and reach their full potential.

Investing in Local Organizations

We partner with and provide financial support to local nonprofits and community organizations that serve children and families. Through fundraising and community giving, we help these organizations continue their important work.

Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders

Through our sponsorship of Key Clubs at Chancellor High School, Stafford High School, and James Monroe High School, we encourage students to become active volunteers and community leaders.

A Community Effort

Our work is made possible by members, volunteers, local businesses, community partners, and supporters who believe in the power of service. By working together, we can extend our reach, support more children, and respond to the needs of our community.
